Young people are stupid.

Well, most people are stupid, but seems like the younger ones never learn anything.

Family walk to Duncan Donuts. Girl behind the counter, askes "What can I get you?"

We say, "We want a half a dozen donuts."

She looks at the register, looks at us and askes, "Is that 6 donuts?"

*blinks* "Yes, that's 6 donuts....."

Please, PLEASE parents, teach your kids when you have them home, because apparently schools aren't teaching the very basic.....

I get so frustrated when teachers complain about how hard they work and do not get paid etc.
Let's face it they get their summers off. They get 2 weeks in the spring, they get 2 weeks at christmas. seems to me every time there is a long weekend my kids do nothing in class for the week prior and the week after.
They tell me all the time of all the movies they watch at school.
Or they didn't do much because they had a substitute teacher that day because their teacher was off at a volleyball match or on a course of some other kind.
The kicker was when my one son in grade 7 came home with a school letter telling parents that the students were all failing this one section of the cirriculum but that they had to move on to new things and it was now up to the parents to teach these things as they had no more time to work on it.
What ???? you send a letter telling us that basically the entire class does not know this section, but you are going to move on to other things now ????
geeeez, glad my tax dollars are hard at work there.
