my aunt used to have a player piano. coolest. thing. ever. i totally understand the pump-your-own keyboard instrument love. good for little bitty.
Man! That takes me back to my childhood! My parents had a beautiful old organ almost identical to that one that they restored.
I remember on that right arm there'd be a crystal bowl full of shiny red balls (stop laughing) at Christmas time--the kind you hang on the tree. We decorated the whole organ and my mom would play Christmas carols on it. The good ol' days!

We used to have a pianola which was a workout in itself to pump the pedals to get it to play. Sadly all we have now are the pianola rolls. ;-(
