And like a bad penny

I've turned up again.

We're back.........and it was VERY nice.

The Mrs had one request for her birthday, to go to greatwolflodge.com

Its a family orianted place. An indoor water park, kids cub club, aracde, story time with animatronics and real storybook reading. And a spa for the Mrs.

So I took the wee one to the arcade while the mrs went for spa treatment. We had lots of fun.

Oh and, sarah, later that night, managed to hit the ticket jackpot of one game. You know, the kind almost no one ever does. Somehow, she did.

Parents revisited

Again, what's wrong with you parents? I find this even worse. At least at the McDonald's you could claim ignorance....

I'm working, off loading pianos off the truck, we use a ramp. We lay out a cone to warn people that we're there.

There's a 3-4 year old running around, throwing a ball on the sidewalk, of the 4 lane main road here. He just wanders by the downside, throws the ball up and down the ramp, until I yell at him to get away. He then proceeds to climb on the car next to the truck, then on the hood, tea windshield, the roof. Only when he actually is wandering out PAST the car, into the road do his parents actually look after him and shoo him back.

Did I mention bother parents were in the car RIGHT THERE in the car he was climbing on and were not bothering to watch the child, or rather PARENT the child.

Get off your ass, get out of the car and entertain and watch YOUR kid for Christ sake.

Getting tired of this......

Look who's starting dance

What's wrong with parents today?

I took Sarah to McDonald's as a treat, and they had a playground. Oh boy was THAT a mistake. At least at this one, I've been to others and had no problems.

THIS one, apparently, is for parents who don't bother watching or disciplining their kids. They apparently sit in the other room and ignore them while they stuff their fat faces with food.

Of course, since I'm there, I have no trouble yelling at your little darlings. In fact I did, multiple times. Because the following behavior is NOT acceptable:

1) Climbing on the structure so that their feet are dangling in people's faces in the eating area.

2) Throwing around wadded up dirty socks across the eating area.

3)Throwing items up the enclosed slide.

4)Climbing up the enclosed slide, when there are 20 or so kids in the area.

5)If your an older child, blocking off the entrance to the ball pit or slide isn't fun for the smaller kids.

Now they weren't ALL bad, but I have to say over 90% of them had unacceptable behavior. And yes, I yelled at the ones causing the most problems. There was a host of smaller behavior that wasn't effecting Sarah or me that I couldn't be bothered with.

New Milestone in Development!

Sarah has a new milestone!

Sarah was riding along on her bike, stops turns to her mother and.....

Hits mommy, *pow* and replies "Punch bug white and black mommy, no take backs."

I'm so proud......

And in other news, she had her 3 year check up(yeah yeah, 2 months late), and she is in perfect health, or in the doctors words she's completely and utterly healthily, not a thing wrong, physically, mentally, or developmentally.

Which means you all are in SOME much trouble when I let her loose in public. Its all her personality......

Sarah is mad at daddy.....

Apparantly daddy is mean because he wont let mommy drive the car while we're all out together.

Sarah: "daddy's mean and I dont like him."

Mommy "why are you so mad at daddy?"

Sarah "Because I'm being fresh today."

Sarah wants a pet.

But if you guessed she wants a puppy or a kitten, you'd be wrong. No, that would be easy. She INSISTS that she wants a baby polar bear. She's named it, told me where its going to sleep, how she's going to take care of it, teach it how to jump and all sorts of other things.....

I love snark

In case you haven't noticed, I love that sarcastic routines I pull, and it rubs off on the little one.

Like this afternoon, where Sarah yelled at her aunt because "Aunt Cheryl, YOU didn't look both ways before crossing the street."

Or today's favorite is from the Mrs calling from the kitchen "Honey, could you get your daughter, she's doing the Damon voice and its freaking me out."

*grin*

Little folks day

No, it has nothing to do with midgets. Its a day where at a farm in our area, the baby animals are out, and you can come and spend the day there with activities and see them, and even pet them. There were over 700 people there the other day:

Plenty more pics, but you get the idea.....

The world is in SO much trouble

When Sarah gets out.

Lets play a guessing game, shall we? All you reading, guess what sarah's new favorite book is she carries around? Got you guess? Good. Its wrong, ready for the answer?

Girlfriend's guide to toddlers. A book on how to deal with children. She wont let us take it away, she carries it around, and I'm assuming she's reading it. Either that information is transferring by osmosis. Either way she's studying up on how adults deal with children......

You've been warned.
