Ok this is getting insane.
Look, I know Sarah is special, but it gets to be silly at times. Parents, riddle me this:
Do YOU get random neighbors dropping by to say hello to them and giving them presents for no apparant reason? I just got home a short time ago and one nieghbor(female) came by and gave her a present. Its not ehr birthday, christmas, graduation, or anything.
Sometimes, I just dont get it......

hmmmmmmmmm... kinda strange if they arent close .. but then again.. i had a neighbor when i was little who used to bring me home big bags * in my eyes* of candy from the grocery store for no reason.. Is he/she older?? maybe they are just lonely and cant resist a cute little girl! Either way... I would just say thank you and give it a once over before she plays to make sure its safe..
Oh we do. And make sure sarah does too, its just one of those odd things...
OH this particular neighbor has been giving sarah gifts since the day we brought her home....she is a very nice neighbor and adores sarah, so it is not strange for her to bring her things...she does it a lto.....she gives her gifts for every b-day, christmas, easter...ect.......
I have the same thing with Lauren.
Neighbor does the same. It makes her happy to buy her something and see her excitement.
I don't mind. She checks to make sure it's okay with me first - she'll say - Nikki, I got this for Lauren, is it okay for me to give it to her?
She doesn't get bitchy if I say no - which I rarely do, she's a smart lady and abides by mommy's wishes.
I think for her, a big part was that she can't have kids and this is how she gets to have some of the enjoyment of children.
A single female neighbor calls my two year old son her "boyfriend." Creeps me out.
Joy, that is pretty friggin creapy
