Sarah spent half a day at Grandpa's while daddy went to work. By the time I got there, we have a new rock star on our hands....Her uncle was playing guitar while Sarah jammed on the drums...a full set of drums. She LOVES making noise.....er.....Music with her uncle....
Ballet was good. Apparently there is a full moon or something because every other kid but Sarah was out of control.....Poor teacher. All the moms commented on how focused Sarah is when she is in there...
Sadly, its coming to and end in March and judging by the trials a couple of mom's went to, there aren't any really good schools around. The one nearby has a small wait area with no chairs, so they expect, apparently, you to drop your kid off and come back later for them....Uhm, no. Not a 3 or 4 year old. Not happening. Don't know you, not leaving my child with you, thanks....
But good news is, she may open up in the fall, so if this teacher does, we'll be back. And she's making up the class she missed. She's going to add 15 minutes to the next couple classes so it'll all work out. I like that better than a makeup day....Trying to rearrange a schedule is harder than just sticking around a little longer....

All the mom's comment she's good and focused when she's at it.
And their all impressed she can actually do hopscotch the right way in class...

I think it is good of her to extend the classes...that shows good business sence....she does feel bad and is doing what she can do accomodate....give her kudos for trying...and I want to see you in a tootoo carm...

Yes yes it does. Its easier to stay a bit longer each time than show horning another day in with a variety of parents. She was talking to some of the other mom's and teh reason she's closing is the rent there is just too high....So we'll see what happens in the fall. I rather like her, and rather than find a new school.

Yes, yes it is too young. If she'd been there for a year or 2 it might be different, but between bathroom or something happens and they need a parent....its just not good thing.
I'd camp out there on the floor with a book before I leave....

Sounds like it is something she really enjoys. I hope you can find another place for her...or that this one opens back up! The Princess did not fare as well at dance. One year was enough for us!
She is the sports gal....certainly did NOT get that from her momma!

She did/does. She fares better in a morning class. Afternoon is a bit rougher.
We'll see how it goes. I want to expose herto a bunch of stuff to see what else she likes...
